Laptop hardrives that are not meant for laptops.

    why is it not suitable for a laptop?

    EDIT: nevermind, i just read the comments. i would say that is false advertising to sell it as a notebook drive and then say that it won't work in a notebook.

    Therefore, the drive probably doesn't have the motion and shock tolerances that a normal laptop drive would. Not all 2.5" drives are made for laptops, aside from what Seagate mentioned above, they are also used in high density storage arrays.

    that's the issue. it doesn't matter what seagate markets the drive as on their site if newegg.com is selling it as a notebook drive.
