attached to my TTL cord, a wedding guest knocked if off the table accidentally
is it completely kaput?
I've dropped my 600 from a light stand. Cold shoe wasn't on tight enough.. Zoom head now is stuck at its widest setting. Fairly common when dropped. Everything else works. Nikon charges a flat fee of 189 (i think) to fix or reset the flash tube that come off the rails. I just live with it now and use it in modifiers.. I can almost buy a new 600 for the price of repair.
the flash works fine from what I can tell... its just the clip for the bounce card and the wide angle diffuser that are 'broken'. I'm not going to fuck w/ it, calling Nikon in the next couple of days to get an idea of what it would cost. If its too much, my sell it for cheap and buy another SB900.
my offer of $20 still stands.
I'll even pay for shipping.
thanks Jared... I'll keep that in mind.
