is there a way for the general public to run a check for an arrest warrant?
could be one of many states between Michigan and Georgia.
What's the warrant for?
On yourself or another person?
get pulled over.
You could go to your local PD or SO and find out if they do background checks. SO doesn't do them here anymore due to budget and time constraints, but PD does. You pay a fee, wait some time, and they'll do a background check on someone for you. Don't know if it checks more than just GA, though.
in my area you have to go to the PD with your drivers license or other form of ID and be there in person while they check. I think its just so they can arrest you though if they find anything.
its for a customer that we are watching for trying to use a stolen identity. he hasnt actually committed a crime yet, so we wanted to see if he is a wanted man and just get him picked up instead of dealing with any more of his shit.
Call the Jail.
call all the jails in 10+ different states?
i found someone else on another forum that got me the hookup for georgia and NCIC checks.
