vs. I like the leatherman because it has other things besides a blade, and that particular model blade is high-grade steel. I don't like the leathermade because the locking mechanism is locking liner, not as strong as benchmade's axis lock. I like the benchmade for it's quality blade and axis locking and general quality with the brand. i don't like it because it's only a blade, when it could be a little more utility-wise. price is about $15 difference with the griptilian starting around $70. the knife will be carried for protection (and maybe utility if choosing the leatherman) i wondering if the leatherman might be a little too big for a normal carry (does it fit well in the front pocket of jeans?) any suggesstions? i know both tools seem to be good brands and quality, i'm just wondering if the leatherman's liner lock is strong enough to handle tough jobs.
