Looking for some coupons here for shared hosting, but can't find anything on either of them., .
is $100 a month to much for you? because if so... you need more capital.
They rotate a crappy server daily.
Yeah, way too much trying to start off but process slowly with a good hosting firm. Looking at shared hosting around $15-20 a month, as I'm working on other things at the moment, and websites aren't my main concern quite yet.
VPS, full root, several Distros.
Looks good, hell of a deal thank for pasing it along. Sold out already though, also I have never "managed a server", so how much work would that include on my part going from shared hosting.
liquid web is too expensive for shared hosting, only use them if you want VPS or Dedicated
you just said you could sysadmin.....
$20 a month, looks like a good deal on a VPS. I have never heard of them, but will take some time out to review it. Thank you.
I was just messing with you. , I'm nowhere near that.
I host 3 clients with Linode, VERY rare do I have any issues, they give more disk periodically and have really good support.
Sounds good, I will give them a try, do you know any promo codes, also they don't have cPanel and license is $400+. What else could I use to moniter traffic, and install wordpress, etc. I bought Mint, it's a simple stats moniter, but that's it, what would be my options, thanks for the help btw.
put a linux distro on it, install webmin, awstats for analytics, and be a man and install wordpress by hand... you just unpack it and setup an mysql database/user.
Damn, I really want to use linode.com now that you have introduced me to it; I guess I will have to learn all of this sooner or later, in the mean time I'll check out all of your reccomendations and see the requirements and tech levels.
he rotates a crappy site a week
Did you log in from the soup kitchen to make this thread?

What do you expect for a homeless kid?
One of the oldest images on the web has never been more appropriate:
clustered shared, might as well be dedicate.
I swear by them.
