So he sold his truck to me to buy some more.

Spec:
2009 Ford Ranger 2.3L RWD
Single cab
95k miles
Rubber floors
New battery, alternator, Cooper tires
Automatic transmission that didn’t shift
Asking $3,000

I drove it down the street, barely, as the transmission hunted and then banged into gear as if I was rear ended. Checked the transmission dipstick. Bare, no fluid. Offered the guy $2,000. Sold. Drove down the street to the first gas station and put in 2 quarts of transmission fluid. Shifted like butter all the way back to my shop. Fluid was pissing out one of the transmission cooler lines. I cut both lines, flared the ends, and put on a hose.

I just polished it today with 3D Speed all-in-one Polish/wax. Basic interior cleaning. Gonna ask $6,000. The easy money doesn’t come around too often.
