while I happened to be loading mags for my evil assault rifle
Oh noes, completely legal rifles are being imported into the US. Lets write a story and post it on yahoo's front page.
the economy is doing poorly so they have to attack a product that actually sells??? productive-counter.
The ATF guy has a really bad haircut
Oh man. How ironic. The guy whose house we build them at is about 10 minutes from Kenner.
so it jumped ~7.5 times DURING the federal assault weapon ban? i guess those dont count, right? cause there was a ban, right?
but they have a piston grip
I read that article yesterday on the AP's site. It is full of ignorance and emotionally loaded words. I say, rather than ban guns, let's ban idiot reporters.
but then who would report the news?????
try not to link us to the article
I'm 99.9% positive there are more than 8,547 AKs in the US.
Even though we're in WMD this is still OT... shouldn't we know better
fuck, theres probably more than 8,547 in CA alone.
Holy shit These people are so ignorant and uninformed it hurts
yup. that sure is an "AK-47-type rifle"
No way . I hope for our sake that it's the reporters making the mistake and not the police officers.
the funny part is that they're probably holding up police-issue ARs.... not ones used in murders.
I've witnessed a lot of police cluelessness about guns. When I was in high school we had a graduation requirement where we had to do 60 hours of community service. I did mine with the local police. One day a woman brought in a few guns that her dead husband owned. She didn't want them any more. The police took them. About 15 mins. later I saw I group of them standing around a table looking at a rifle she had brought in. They had it stood up on the butt of the stock and the bolt was open. The whole group of them were trying to figure how to get the bolt out. I said "try puilling the trigger." They did, and the bolt fell onto the table.
Sadly, the most that many cops know about weapons is what they remember from the academy.
Thats awesome. That guy somehow made his AK-47 stop being a POS (hehe, flamesuit on)
link to the media venue that published that?
My word reporters are fucking stupid.
The yahoo link I posted above, it's a caption for one of the pictures in the gallery.
