I actually had a guy with the last name Marine in boot camp too. I wish I could remember what the DIs called him, but he def did NOT go by his last name.
I've seen Captain America on MOL.
There are some other funny ones too.
there was a kid named sargeant in our battlaion. the DIs called him by his roster number too. of course since rosters change all the time they eventually stopped and just started calling him shithead instead.

There was a Candidate Marine in my OCS company. Also had a Lejeune. The staff gave both of those guys a pretty hard time.

When I was deployed, there was a Major Cocks always coming into our warehouse.
my first ROTC commander was Colonel Moses, and our commandant of cadets was Capt Christ
My first section sergeant was SGT Sargent.
There's a Sergeant Sergeant in my company.
During basic some guy's name tapes got fucked up on his BDU's so he had "Adams" written on both instead of US Army.
We've got a Seargant in our Battalion too, must be a common last name.
