You really should take the time to enjoy it. @Kafka did, and he loves us for it.

It's definitely worth it. Deep Space 9 more than likely got a bit of inspiration from B5. B5 also was the first show to have over-arcing stories, so it was revolutionary for its time and still holds up (story-wise). I think you'd enjoy it, military-inspired as well.

At least watch the first 5 episodes so you can REALLY feel the pain I felt before I self-destructed.

But then I also watched the first 3 seasons of Discovery from start-to-finish, HOPING it would get better. It just continued to get worse. And watched reviews of Season 4, and it still did.

i binged S3 and thought...well it was kind of okay. Mainly it had the "this is a soft reboot of Andromeda" feel to it which I thought was kind of neat.

I'm about 3 episodes in to S4 and I stopped and started watching K dramas instead
