ART looking to replace sigma 75-300

under consideration is Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG AF APO

does anyone have thoughts on this, im put off by its weight. Weight: 1245gr
close second is the AF APO 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 minolta weight: 485 g really considering this, but reviews seem to favor the sigma?
OR the heavier AF 100-400 F4.5-6.7 APO minolta (it can zoom under its own weight ) weight: 840 g

wide open performance is important! weight also is.

maybe i just need to replace it with a 200/4 and a teleconvertor, oh wait i cant find a 200/4 anywhere
theres the 200/2.8 at Weight 17.88 oz BUT its ENOURMOUS

in my bag are the 24, 50, 100, 500mm already
