What sort of mileage are you guys getting with your cars?
lol 12 MPG?
00 SS all bolt ons (minus pulley) with ls1 edit and a heavy foot I avg 22ish city and 28-30 hwy with 4:11's. when I had the stock rear but only a couple little bolt ons 24ish city and 32 or more hwy.
That's not too bad.
better then alot of v6's and 4 bangers and I have 337 rwhp and 340 rwtq through a 12 bolt and denny's nitrous ready drive shaft/
bone stock LS1 in a 2000 SS ragtop I'm getting around 28hwy and 15-16 around town.
16-20 city, havent been on the hwy yet, 04 GT
~18, give or take. Today was about 17
16? The lowest Ive ever done was 17 in my GT.. and the highest, so far, is only like 18.8
01 gt, about 17 combined, all city lucky to get 15, all highway 25
1996 Impala SS, I'm getting about 18-20 mpg mixed driving if I keep my foot out of it.
1995 Camaro, with the 99 LS1 out of a donor T/A, around 25mpg mixed, and I've seen nearly 30mpg hwy, and thats with 3.73s.
I get about 22-25 out of an '02 Z28. I used to have an '01 Mustang GT, got around 17-20 out of it.
14-15 in the city, 24-25 on the highway.
depends on how you drive it. if i shift my car before 2100 rpms with gentle driving, i can get 20mpg city...if i open it up, i'll get more like 9mpg
01 mustang bullitt, advanced timing, upgraded injectors, many other bolt ons
I get around 23-25, I have gotten as high as 28 when I was gentle on it. I have a 4.6, BTW.
I've been thinking about getting a mustang to use as my daily driver. The majority of the driving I would be using the car for would be highway, so I don't think the mileage would be all that horrible. Does it seem like a bad idea?
98 camaro ss m6
usual bolt ons.. lid/cutout/longtubes/race pipes
I run this car which has a 5.0L Ford in it and get 400km/80L tank
Edit: which I think means 250 miles from 21 gallons? So that makes it about 11mpg right?
With my foot on it, i get around 14-16mpg, but for normal driving I average 20-24mpg.
02 True Blue GT.
On my last ALL highway trip I was getting around 24.5 mpg...some of you might say bs but that's what it was...believe it or not.
I'm driving a 2002 supercharged mustang gt
Not bad.. If it's all highway and you stay out of boost it will get nice mileage.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I'm going to stick with the Miata and just get a rollbar for now, and eventually an FM2 or something.
