I wanna know what all was done to it to make that big of an improvement.
nothing, it was dead stock, as were all the cars.
It just showed that driving sedately can return good fuel millage even in a 425hp vehicle using 'outdated' technology.
C6 got 31 mpg on our trip back from SC, all highway miles though. Rather surprised, better than the old 330ci
6th gear FTW
now all they gotta do is not make it look like a piece of dog shit
Sweet, only 710km to Darwin
i was reading about this competition the other day
so the maloo won
that said 1500km of highway and 10km around the town when they got there
doesnt really count for "combined average fuel"
im not really sure how "percent less than epa rating" is winning
shouldnt the lowest fuel usage be considered winning?
They ran a tesla roadster, it made 500km but ran out of fuel in the middle of the desert
hate do admit it but i like the look of that maloo
global green challenge sponsored by GM
oh, the contest is about greatest difference between official fuel usage figures and what they tested them at?
Was there any way they could verify that the cars werent loaded with a 'non-factory tune'
my v6 accord with that new cylinder management crap barely breaks 27-28 in straight highway driving
go aussies go
im pretty sure the Diesel Fiesta won on lowest consumption
it got under 3L/100km
Maloo is a cool name. I'd drive it.
so pretty much they drove it like a grandma and got some good numbers?
