Mac people, what can I use to view .wmv files?

    I've tried to download Windows Media Player, but on install a window comes up that says it's checking the hard drive and then it just sits there, dead. I have to do a hard restart to get functional again. I'm on a G4 iMac with MacOS 9.2. (I know, I know...OSX is the shit, but some of my applications aren't OSX native, so I need to upgrade before I start using OSX.)

    Mike the Mac user suggests starting up without extensions then installing it. Or upgrade to OSX.

    upgrade to OSX and run your old apps in classic. Nearly all OS 8/9 apps run fine in classic, and i've even got some REALLY old programs (games mostly) to run in classic.
    then get mplayer to play .wmv files

    i'm having to use my old mac g4/400 running 9.2.2 while my dell is in the shop and I use media player 7.xx on my mac just fine. There are a bunch of codecs i can't run, but most of my porn will work.
