http://www.wftv.com/news/10454514/detail.html ORLANDO, Fla. -- An elderly man took down two robbers trying to hold up a Walgreen's, Saturday night. Orlando Police say the two suspects walked around the pharmacy on North Lane and picked up a few items before taking them to the clerk for a price check. Investigators say one of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded cash. 69-year-old former Marine Emmitt Helmly was standing behind the would be robbers when he realized the gun was just a toy and sprung into action. "I grabbed him in a bear hug. We wrestled around and fell back onto the counter. He slammed me in the mouth and stuck the gun to my head and said 'I'll shoot'," said Helmly. "My reaction was shoot! I knew it was a fake gun," said Helmly. He suffered a minor hear injury from the struggle. He was treated and released on the scene. Officers are still looking for the suspects, who took off empty handed. Too bad he couldn't keep them there, but good job nonetheless.
