This is for the Orlando WMD'ers and such...but figured u guys would like to see how this competition is gonna work: The Poly Pro Challenge I The First competition dedicated to polymer framed pistols from all manufacturers. Sunday, May 28th 2006 (Memorial Day Weekend) $40.00 per shooter Sign-in at 9:00 am with first shots to be fired at 9:30 am, awards at 4:00 pm, with lunch provided. 6 stages of fire, totaling 100+/- rounds Divisions: A: Sporter Devision: Any polymer gun with any factory magazine, grip extensions allowed. B: Compact Division: Any polymer gun with a barrel LESS than 4". Finer extensions (i.e. Pearce +1) allowed, but no full size grip extensions. Rules & Requirements: *Previous action shooting experience required. Shooters will be drawing from holster, shooting and reloading on the move. If you've never fired a match before, come shoot with us on a Monday night practice match at 7pm* 1. Holsters and Mag Pouches must be of the typed allowed for USPSA production or IDPA competition. Placement of holster and mag pouches in accordance with USPSA Production and IDPA guidelines.2. No limit on the number of mags allowed (min. 3 mags required) 3. No cover garment required 4. Factory type notch and post sights allowed; fiber optic allowed 5. Factory porting of barrels is allowed as long as it does not extend beyond the end of the barrel (i.e. compensators) Awards: Awards will be given in both divisions and A-C classes for 1st through 3rd places. Six shooter minimum in a class for 1st-3rd. One gun will be given away in each division, drawn from a hat, with the best score of the 5 winning the gun.
