I have been noticing that on days that I go all out, particularly mondays, (christopher's routine), I have been experiencing impaired mental function between sets. I can't remember what set I'm on or how much weight I'm lifting. I have to go back and look at the bar to see how much weight there is on there. Could this be because blood is being drawn into my muscles and away from my brain? Maybe I'm just going crazy, but who knows.
