Work or home? What do u actually do for a job?
Lol I work in renewable energy research. Used to work in an offroad fabrication shop before going to college. Now I do similar fab work on the side, out of my garage, for land cruisers and other yotas.

A good chunk of this metal is actually heading down under in a container. Aussies are probably like 10% of my business

Do it. Lots of room for creativity.

I had a blast designing/prototyping and building my trailer. Roof pops like on those too. I want to build them because all the commercial offerings are build like shit. I know building them so stout, like I did, is cost/time prohibitive though.

Ah. Im the only one (that I know of) who has engineered a quick release urethane mudflap. US people like them, but the Aussies love them. Other brackets I sell go there too, but the flaps are most popular.
ah killer! do you sell through stores here or just online?

I wish. Only 70 we can get are 25 years old and cost like 50k after paying for someone to import. Also, there's limited 70s here, so I'd need a solid connection with a shop in AU to make production of anything worth it.

Lol. I can't get in bed with arb. I love them, but they're big enough they will just take my design, make it cheaper, and burry me.

Not that they can't do that now, but I'm working up in a very niche market now and when it gets bigger, the plan is to expand quick and do some serious branding/marketing.
