Dayum. I really like his Silent World work.
Where did he find the some of these places? Especially where the trees all line up.
Only way I could do that is photoshop in trees.
Geez. His pictures look so desolate and silent, it's eerie and calming.
as far as the lines of trees, go to any farm in the midwest. there's so many lines of trees like that between fields and on property lines because they are used as wind breaks.
and i agree with the eerie desolate look to his photos.
looks like he uses IR? looks like the empty shots are shot at night when long shutters then converted to bw. thats the only time you can get shots of busy streets with no people.
it inspires me to go out and find some empty areas to take pictures of. i doubt there are any of those in jacksonville, though....
this is about the only time i'll say this, midwest ftw
there's plenty up around the north side and the I-10/295 split, a little west of that
