pretty sweet what i`ve checked out so far
id rather go out to the range... its easier
Pretty deacent sim. I'm working through different stuff to learn to read mils. Since my new scope is a mil dot it would be good to learn. Particularly if I shoot a unknown distant target or moving target.

I have the whole program... it's pretty cool. Good explanations and simulations from what I've done so far.
hook me up yo.
how do you calculate this shit?
The mil-dots are a known size, as are the spaces between them. By knowing how many dots (or partial dots, or spaces, or any combination of them) and having an idea of the size of your target, you can calculate how far it must be. You have to make educated guesses as to the size of what you're looking at though.
Also the 20x doesnt adjust the mildot size
Very interesting. Took me 3 shots just freeballing it. I need to learn more about ballistics.
I just carry around a cheat sheet:
