It seems like there's two schools of thought on the military form. I'm curious what the strong guys here think is best for getting a bigger MP in the long run. 1) Coaches like Mark Rippetoe seem to think that you need to get your body "under the bar" i.e. the bar is directly over your head and you push your torso forward. [y]TtTEMRse54g[/y] 2) When it comes to the actual people I see with strong military presses it seems like they tend to press it directly up and keep their torso leaning back a bit with a lot of lower back arch. [y]Ae0Ya0s5pR4[/y] So what's better for gaining strength? To me it seems like #2 is the form most people with really strong military seem to use so that's what I've been doing.
