    Exercise:

Warm up - rolling and trigger point and 400m row.

    WOD - "Daniel"

50 pull ups (I used an orange band)
    400m run
    21 thrusters (20kilos)
    800m run
    21 thrusters (20kilos)
    400m run
    50 pull ups

    In 32:08

I was determined to go, and survive so I scaled both the weight and how I did my pull ups. I was very happy with what I achieved.
    Food:
    6:30am - coffee
10:30am - Two schoops of choc WPI
    12pm - Bulk bar (1)
4pm - Avocado and chicken on wholemeal salada (2)
    6pm - a few pickles.
    7pm - Steak & two veg (3)
8pm - WPC w/ frozen mango and cream (4) & two pieces of dark chocolate

    Injuries:
Ripped my hands up - got a blister on both middle fingers!

    Mood:
First day alone in a long time. Kids went back to school. Very emotional lately though - hormones. It sucks being a human. I need to stop picking and choosing my work outs, so even though I hate thrusters and running I went today. I'm feeling fat, but husband says it's just hormones. I feel like I should be skinnier considering what I do, but I refuse to eat too poorly and risk getting cranky. :o

    Sleep:
7 and a half hours of broken sleep.

Sun tanning gives you cancer and tanning requires upkeep and effort, not to mention 'Now no excess sweating' :ugh:

It is what it is. I'm noble!

    :dunno:

When I got a spray tan I was told that any excess sweating would negatively impact the tan and I should ex-foliate and moisturise every day. I just don't care enough

Your body is fine, you're just in serious need of a tan.
You live in Australia, why are you so pale

What is everyone's obsession with tanned skin?

I don't go out into the sun and 'get a tan' because sun damage gives you skin cancer. I have no desire to die. :dunno:

Not as DOMsey, which is good. Also I looked smoking hot going to the gym so was in an awesome mood. You know how a chick dresses up in gym gear but more to 'look hot' than actually work out? Yeah that was totally me - but I worked out. PBs helped the good mood too :big grin:

I obviously can't camera, because all my photos are shit and it's meant to be 'an awesome camera phone'. I WAS HOTTER IRL:o

Went to the gym two hours later and got new PBs in my presses. So yay :big grin:

    Mood:
Horrible day. Emotionally broke down this morning - had to lock myself in the bathroom so my kids couldn't see :hs: Ended up getting better throughout the day. By the time I was at the gym I was in a better mood and it didn't impact my work out at all.

Didn't eat enough today. Oh well. I've noticed a lot less pain since taking BCAAs.

Had one of my clients comment as soon as I walked in that my arms are looking super buff :big grin:

Because I have no life and no friends. :dunno:
My best friend is my husband, all my other 'good friends' speak to me at most once a fortnight - except one who lives in a different city. I'm actually so desperate for interaction I'm flying to see her this weekend. I have to fly interstate to find a friend to hang out with :ugh:
My life consists of fighting with children and all family related stuff that comes with them, going to the gym, working from home 90% of the time, and posting on OT. I've spent the last two weekends either working or sitting in bed watching tv an browsing the internet.
A few months ago I counted 6 couples I'd invited over for dinner who all said they'd 'get back to me' and none of them have. Same with coffees with other mothers. I'm constantly asking and being told 'Yeah we should' and nothing.
I feel like I am always the one who initiates communication and I feel like I'm in high school again. There's a fine line between interest and obsession not to mention eagerness and desperation.

Shit that sounds terrible. Either your friends are shit heads or you need to look in the mirror and ask why nobody wants to hang out with you, then maybe modify some of your behaviors in friendship.

That does really suck tho, its hard to find fun hobbies and activities to do on a regular basis when youre our age.

Maybe switch jobs? Work friends are the easiest way to do it.

I don't want to dismiss me being apart of the problem, because that would just be silly. There is obviously something about me that makes me find myself in these situations.
But, I've had one of my closest best friends tell me that 'You're such a strong woman, and you have the house, the kids, the husband and the job. You've got such a great life, no one would know that you're not happy' or something to that effect. Pretty much said because I'm such a strong and powerful personality everyone thinks when I get rejected I just brush it off. That asking people over for drinks and having 90% of them say they're coming and then just not turn up won't effect me.

I work for myself and I love it. So that's not really an option.
I have tried to strike up conversations with mother's at school and people at the gym and they're great for the 'Hey, how're going?' type fluff conversations. Even though I try to ask them about their lives and what they're up to nothing eventuates 'What are you up to this weekend' "nothing, just hanging out at home' - see on facebook the whole group of people I was just talking to went to the beach.

    Wheeeee

But yeah. It's a combination of shit friends, obviously me not being likeable, and my expectations on what a friend is - because I will do anything for a friend. I guess all those years being the outcast at school has made me value friends more than the average person who never had to fight to be liked. But then when I step back and look at it, everyone gets out of me what they need in a friend and I'm not getting what I need.
