Went out for a shoot last night for a magazine print, critique?
oogly wheels. i like the sky in the last few
such an odd wheel color
on the side angle shots, crop off a little on the bottom so the car sits on the lower third of the frame.
there is some halo effect around the car on the last few images. the dodge/burn tool (or erase to history) is still evident.
Nice job babe!
Not bad, however the ricer angles really hurt some otherwise decent pics, particularly 3, 4 and 10. Seriously, that angle crap is WAY past passe, please think long and hard about never doing it again. Thanks.
I like #8 a lot, but the car doesn't pop. Dupe the layer, punch up the brightness and contrast on the car a bit and then use a layer mask to paint it into the background.
Speaking of layer masks, you need to work on your selection/masking technique, you have really REALLY bad selection halos around the car on 9,10 and 11.
Your choice of locations in 2, 3 and 4 really works well, I like the color match of the wall and wheels, though I might have moved the car away from the elevator sign or I'd photoshop it out. I'd definitely take out those white spots on the wall.
Finally, I'd say your editing of the car on the last three shots looks a little unnatural, particularly the top surfaces of the car look flat and disconnected from the rest of the image.
Its WAYY past passe, but nearly every modified car magazine seems to use them Most of the angled shots were due to the fact that I was completely restricted by area behind me to get straights.....but if I were to take the shots again and had infinite room behind me, I would have kept it the same angle, it works well
Ya, I've been working on it to allow it to pop a lil more, I will post up the changes in a bit
Yes I know, although I like the look on 9 and 10, I do need to fix 11
Changes to #11

I like this one the best:
But I think I like it better with the tile straight and the edge of the platform cropped...
I like this one over the cropped one.
