Can it be done reliably w/ anything on the marker for under $100? Need it to work on a MBP and 2 PCs.

Spider 3 Epxress. It's the same hardware as the higher end models (minus the ambient light sensor which you don't really need) and you can just load the Elite software and get all the features.

I have one and love it.
