My monitor's been crapping out on me lately. Its about 9 years old and Ive noticed that when I edit my pics they look alright on my comp but when I go to someones house and see it there it looks completely different. Most of my friends have newer flat-screen monitors and therefor the quality is better. What I was wondering is if there are any programs out there that can help me configure my settings better. Ive tried to look everywhere through my comp but I can never get the settings I want. So is there something out there or is it just time to get a new monitor or get a laptop (since I need one soon anyway).

Whats a good program to use. Its driving me nuts. I shot over 300 pics at the track today and I dont wanna touch any of them cause I realized how shitty my monitor is.

Pantone Huey seems to be decent for well under $100

I use an i1d2 also, it does a nice job, but the Huey has a better UI for the new user. The Huey also has an ambient light sensor function that is really useful.
