I was at COP Baracki Barack in eastern AFG last year and one day as I was waiting for the helo to arrive to take me back to Shank, I was sitting on my ruck in the sun as two SPC's came up to wait on the bird too. They sat about ten feet away, and as their SM was approaching, I heard one of them say to the other "Hey SM is on his way, get up...better let that dude know too", as he was motioning to me the other dude glanced at me, gave an appalling look, then looked back at his buddy and said "I don't think that guys gonna give a fuck, he has a god damn Burt Reynolds 'stache for Christ's sake"

He was correct.
