Yea yea host then post. 280hp/306ft-lb, My heads are holding me back big time. Also, I had a miss above 5,500 rpm which implies the plug gap was too much. Sure enough, .046 is what they were at and they should be around .040 - .036. Just pulled the plugs this morning to check.

i expected a lot more out of a 408

Me too, but the engine is only as strong as it's weakest link. That is the heads, plus don't forget that I am on a 44 year old automatic transmission which I am sure eats gobs of power. Letit get tuned and let's see how it turns out. It is always a work in progress. It sure pins you to the seat, despite the numbers
