Should I get this mouse? How is the logitech software for mice on mac?
logitechs software sucks fucking ass
I used steermouse on my mac.
tiny app, did all it needed to do.
Logitech shitty ass software made me have kernel panics
DO NOT load the logitech software... I have a VX revolution, and I love it...
i have the same thing, and it rocks! small, but not too small for my hands and you can adjust the speed of the scroll wheel.
I have the S510 mouse and keyboard combo made specifically for Mac. Previous Logitech software version was total junk and didn't work with the S510. Logitech tech support is non-existent and recommended people downgrade (which didn't work). I spent an hour on the phone with their support guy walking him through the steps I had taken (I do software and driver testing too for my job) and basically did his job for him. At the end all he could say was that maybe it was my keyboard and mouse and I could mail it to them and get a new one in a couple weeks. He talked to other people there and they came to the conclusion that it must be broken hardware for everyone with the S510 complaining about it online. HA! The keyboard will work for weeks and then it will need to be re-synced every couple minutes when it starts not picking up on buttons pressed. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't go with Logitech.
i want a new mouse and the fast scrolling of the MX/VX seems useful. can someone recommend something else?
preferably wireless, but i can make do with a wire if its a badass mouse.
wait for the bluetoof version
the new logitech software works pretty well for me now.
Is the bluetooth might mouse worth it? Thinking about getting one.
Yeah hopefully the price won't pwn my paycheck!
I'd like to second the Mighty Mouse question - is it worth it? Is the bluetooth version worth it?
I'm mostly surfing the net, playing starcraft and cod4
do not get a mighty mouse if you want to play starcraft.
i have a wired one before the bluetooth one came out, and its unusable playing SC, you can't right click if your index is resting on the other side of the mouse. maybe that has been fixed but it was unplayable with the way it was.
that bitch better come out soon. any idea how long it takes from FCC approval to store shelves?
I use steermouse.
MX revolution + steermouse is tight.
mx going bleutoof, i bet i switch now
