Wow.. thats pretty gay. I can't even watch a video in HD without it stuttering
set the battery to better performace... that usually works for me lol
otherwise, ALL vid files stored on my hd. stutter....
I have it set to highest performance when connected to the power adapter, and its always connected to the power adapter. It still stutters. like watching trailers in 720p stutter like CRAZY
weird, my 1.67Ghz pb with 2 gigs of ram will do it sometimes
yeah man this is whack I think its just the slow-ass 1.2ghz cpu.
I think I'm going to sell this biatch and go back to winblows
720p and 1080i own my 1.67ghz with 1.5gb of ram, i think its too much for the powerbooks
You do not meet the minimum system requirements to play HD content. Need at least a 1.8ghz G5. I've read that some dual G4's (1.42ghz) can play them too.
thats kinda fucked. i spent $2500 on this shit less than a month ago.
you say that every week, no one cares
Find me one other post of mine to back up what you said.
you're always negative in your posts
Yea, no laptops that apple produces can play quicktime HD smoothly, I found that out the hard way as well, and yes it does suck, and I have a 1.67GHz. But, I think it's a combination of proc speed and your gpu.
You really do seem to hate apple tho, like its the worst mistake of your life you make it sound.
I'll admit its not nearly as great as every mac enthusiasts made it out to seem, i still like the powerbook but i guess my expectations were too high.. but i think you should sell your ibook, cuz you just seem to hate it! lol
most laptop video cards can't handle HD unless its top of the line...and apple didn't want huge gpu's in their setups. they get hot enough as it is without another processor baking the internals
Whoa whoa whoa... ladies. Settle down. It may seem that I hate macs or w/e, but truth betold: I don't.
The thing I do hate is how much some mac users ride apple way too much, and make it look like a king compared to windows. It's not. Apple makes a great OS, but so does M$. It depends on what you want to do. In most cases, people use laptops to work, read emails, surf the net, watch movies, etc. and Apples notebooks are great for that (aside from not being able to play HD fucking movies ) although theres obviously many things that you can do on windows that you can't on tiger.
Cliffs: I love macs and I love pcs. Although I hate when mac fanboys make OSX look so much more superior when it isn't. kthxbye.
