Not really. Most pc laptops under a grand are hot garbage and most PC laptops only will last 3-4 years if you are lucky. M1 Macbook Air is a hella nice computer for the money, and for gaming Nvidia just released Geforce Now game streaming for the M1 macs, so you can now stream/play any PC game you own on your mac.
