Have had a Japanese made Zojirushi for 6 years now. Replaced a cheap $30 Tiger that I'd had before.

It takes forever to cook rice, but it's guaranteed perfect every time. No burn marks, not dried out.

My instant pot sits in a cabinet unless I’m making carnitas. I don’t leave it on the counter.

My Zojirushi sits on the counter though and the kids make rice themselves since it’s like a button click after washing the rice.
