Rice is kept room temp all the fuckin time and it's fine. It's often the technique for making fried rice
And this is why there were all kinds of food poisoning cases in nyc back in the day … Chinese places would leave rice out overnight and use it the next day for fried rice

Ok fine ordered this cheap ass IMUSA rice cooker

IMUSA USA GAU-00013 Electric Nonstick Rice Cooker 8-Cup (Uncooked) 16-Cup (Cooked), White

Never used the steamer basket anyway so if if it doesn't have it.

I have one of those multi level steamers anyway

I want a zojirushi bad.

But I make rice in a Korean dolsot and serve bulgogi and fried egg and veggies in it. One pot to clean only. Well, also the grill for the bulgogi
I love grilling bulgogi and kalbi but always fall short with the banchan. Even if you buy it, it’s never as good compared to a restaurant
