. . . and though I'm glad he went (he's 5' 10" 243, no muscle, poor posture, unhealthy, yadda yadda and I'm really trying to help motivate him to get healthier), he acted like a complete moron. Locking his knees on the leg press, lifting free weight bbs with way too much weight on them (and crooked as sin, I might add), slamming the weights down after 3 reps or so. What is wrong with certain people that they think they're right, even if they've no experience in a certain area whatsoever? Where did you learn to lift? Was it a trainer or experienced friend? Or do most guys just start lifting and change by watching others/getting made fun of/getting yelled at?
