I have been cutting for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks without any cheat days, and have lost 12 pounds. Up until about a week ago, I did not do any cardio while on the diet. For the past week I have been waking up at 6:30am and getting on the treadmill for about 20 minutes with medium to high intensity. I do not feel like I have lost any muscle whatsoever, and I am getting stronger. Is 12 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks too much, or is it about right?
