Nothing else to do but get a puppy.
I'm so sorry man. I have gone through this recently.
how do you know its gonna die? Are you gonna kill it?
no, she's been very sick.. she can't stand up and starting having seizures today.. she can't even keep her head up or drink water
Aww man, that sucks
17 years is a pretty long time, you should be happy.
Maybe you should put it to sleep? Just saying if its in pain which it probably is, better to let it fall asleep. 17 years is a long time for a dog! But i'm sure thats most of your life as well so its like a brother. I remember my dog was put to sleep when i was about 10. I dont remember much but it just makes me realize how precious life can be that one minute somebody is there, the next their gone. And 13 years later the only thing you have to remember them is pictures.
I'm really sorry for your loss. I hope you have many pictures of your dog. (I'm sure you do)
Remember, your dog will always be with you.
I'm sorry man.
Just thinking about my buddy dying makes me tear up.
Just remember how good of a life she's had, and through the pictures/memories you have of her
did she make it?
If she's getting really bad, take her to the vet and put to sleep.
There's nothing like doing the right thing and putting an animal you love to sleep and out of it's misery!
I hope everything is okay with you. Both of my pups are still young, and I can't imagine how I'm going to feel when that day comes.
When you are ready, I hope you take the chance to save another dog's life by adopting one.
she passed away early in the morning and got buried at noon..
we got our first snowfall of the year this afternoon.. she's in a better place
I am very sorry to hear that. My dog who was also my best friend died this summer while I was on vacation. It was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. Just remmeber all of the happy times you had with your dog. It is tough as you will never really get over the death of someone you love, you only learn how to deal with it.
