is there really a nicer sound than racking the slide? maybe pulling back the hammer on a s&w .500
the boom of a large caliber handgun being fired, or the feel of it going off in your hands
meh...i much prefer the sound of the moving gun parts over the boom of the round
Meh I like the sound of letting the bolt slam home in an AK
the bolt closing on an AR, or the "twang" sounds it make when u shoot.
Pumping a 12 ga pump shotgun?
Sorry, yeah, pistol's got nothing on that authoritative clack clack.
naw the closing racking of an autoloader "CHICK KINK" > pumping "chick chick"
you're right. winnar
Fuck yeah, especially one with a nice slick action. Like a well broken-in Model 12
Can't forget the sound when the Garand ejects the empty enbloc
Racking my 870 is more satisfying.
*EDIT* Ok I'm late. I'll post a pic so I can be first for something in this thread:
Meh, plastic hitting itself isn't very amusing
whadda ya know, you open you box to your 870 and there is a Glock and a knife sitting inside the box
greatest sound on earth
that'd be an awesome prize in a cereal box
times ten. Also my buddies Browing auto-loader shotgun makes an AWSOME sound when you hit the release button to load the first round. Sexay.
I was going to mention that one too. Lock the bolt back on an Auto-5, then jam a shell in there and get your hand out. Cli da DA CLACK
I always thought the sound a gun makes when you shoot it is more satisfying than the sound it makes when you load it
That's about as good as it gets. buhm buhm buhm buhm buhm
