wrist and elbows start to ache. advice?
maybe warm up properly before lifting (jog for 10 minutes)
knock it off
are you using good body mechanics when lifting? right hand placement etc.?
i believe so, i never had this problem when i first lifted 2 years ago. i took a break because i was in an accident. i want to start again, it even hurts when i do pushups. im 24
stretch before and after exercises
try icing your wrists and elbows after you lift or use heat to warm them up before you lift
will try to heat them up before. thanks
is that considered cheating? my bro was talking. something about water muscles
Creatine draws mad water into your muscles.....its really cheating and all goes away when you stop taking it (1-3weeks)
oh ok so its not recommended?
are u taking any supplements right now? how long have u been lifting weights?
just take whey protein and a multivitamin
joints take longer to recover between workouts than muscle does, so if you are starting to experience joint soreness (which is what i'm guessing you mean by pain) tone down the workouts for a week, decreasing the volume and intensity to around 75% or a pretty light workout, doing this for a a week or maybe two will allow your joints to adapt to the stresses you are demanding of them
i havent lifted anything in 2 years but will start to do it soon. only taking multi vitamins
Noone advised Glucosamine?
doctor, it hurts when i do this
so don't do that
i find if i keep my elbows warm it helps. I bought " elbow wraps" ..that arently really supportive, but keep my elbows really warm.
when i go over 405 on the bench i use elastasized wrist wraps too.
my daily supplements include a flax seed caplet, a multivitamin, and a glucosamine caplet...
may be placebo, but i've noticed i've started to recover faster given that alot of times your joints take a bit longer to recover than the muscles
