You have to save and it is up to you to do it. What a lot of people don't understand is I have my own small corp that I run everything thru. Say I produce a scene for Brazzers. They pay me for X amount of scenes and in turn I produce them and pay everyone from cast to crew to myself. With that also comes a tax liability.

Corporate Taxes, production insurance, health insurance, equipment purchases and on top of that saving for retirement all cuts into the money you make in the moment, which is why some people often assume I must be rich, but they don't really think about the reality of what it is being a small business owner.

No I don't think that is every male performers interest. Some of them have that reputation (ie Nacho Vidal, James Deen, Rocco Siffredi). I think it comes down to the companies you are watching or the product. Some studios specialize in more hardcore extreme sex. Some specialize in more erotic or sensual. You just need to find the product that best suits your tastes.

Not hugely, Europe has their own porn industry and Europe tends to be much on the rougher side.

You need some form of plan to move here. Some possible job or internship that would make it worth while. Otherwise you could come out here and quickly go broke. Maybe try and leverage the connections you have to connections in LA? Or another option is to come visit LA or come to things in LA where you can network.

No... that would be about as unprofessional as possible. Plus it would make no sense in the majority of the scenes. Where did this random dick come from? The performers are told what they are doing before hand and as such their compensation for the scene is worked out with their agent before hand. If shit like this happen, it would look real bad for the production company and could damage their relationship with the agency.

How often do you shoot mainstream stuff? how did you get into it? Does the pay compare to your adult shoots? Do you do any different positions outside of camera operation?

Not that often. I honestly like adult better. The hours are better in adult. The hours in mainstream are brutal. The food is better in mainstream, but I started to get a gut a little bit when I work too much mainstream. I also find I work better when I am a little hungry. The biggest difference is just the size of the crew. Adult is very small. Mainstream is very big. More can be accomplished because of the size and money, but also things move a little slower and their are to many chiefs and not enough indians in mainstream. Too many people who all have input on minor decisions.
