I have a OD green griptillian with the serrated blade, I love it.
Excellent choice. I carry 2 Grips with me daily.
-1 for 1/2 serration. other than that,
Is it assisted?
Best of both worlds. Better than carrying one serrated and one regular
Real operators carry both.
I'm with Hoss though, I prefer a solid blade. If you keep it sharp enough you shouldn't have to saw through something to cut it...and if you do, you need a bigger knife
I usually have a mini-Grip with me and love it. Great knives.
Yeah the half serration im not 100% satisfied with, but I am glad I made a good choice with it
Nope, axis locks aren't assisted. But can be opened just as fast and there's no legal questions depending where you live. They are also some of the strongest blade locks available.
who carries serrated?
solid blade ftw
I carry a combo edge 551 and a solid edge Ritter Grip.
i like my presidio combo.
Do you open it with your thumb?
Mine is a straight blade, but otherwise the same. Great knife, and opens very fast.
Yes, and it's damn near as fast as an auto without the potential legal problems.
depending on the circumstance it's AS FAST and can be faster in certain scenarios.
It's also easier to close, and safer to keep closed.
Axis lock > *
+1. I will not purchase another folder that is not an axis lock.
Got a grip, tanto serrated. But lucky for me i can carry assisted/auto in my state, can also carry more then 3 inches as long as its non concealed. Can't wait for my benchmade bm5000 comes in
Not usually. I grip with my thumb on the axis lock and do a wrist flick.
Yeah i find it really easy to open with thumb, and the lock is amazing, I never worry about it opening on my belt
Unless you regularly have to saw through shit, serrated blades are pointless IMO.
