Most of you know I have a mobile detailing business and get to work on some really high end exotics, so I have been looking for an equally high end wax (that I can charge more for when I use it, of course) to satisfy my filthy rich clientle. I've been hitting a few dedicated detailing boards in my quest for the best high end wax (and to learn as much as I can about unfamiliar products so I can impart that knowledge in the Show and Shine forum-looking out for y'all). I traded some of my Body Shop Pro polishes for a nearly (probably 98%) full 8 oz can of Pinnacle Souveran, which normally runs around $70 for that size (which works out to $1142 a gallon, compared to $28 a gallon for Meguiars #26). I tried it on mine-supposed to work best on red and black cars (Pinnacle Paste Glaz for light cars, and about 1/2 the price). The results were stunning-my paint looks liquid-like if you blew on it, you would see little waves. I'd post a pic, but I left my camera in a rental last month and some asswipe stole it (dropped it off at closing, called first thing in the morning, they claimed they couldn't find it). I also must mention that it goes on as smooth as melted butter and wipes off with ease. No white powder, no residue in the cracks and emblems, either. I still think Meguiars Body Shop Professional line is the best for paint prep (polishes, cleaners, swirl removers, etc), but this is the best wax I've ever used. Attention main forum mods: Do not move this immediately to the Show and shine forum-too few members go there, and I feel it is my duty as OT's detailing God to spread the word about Pinnacle.
