please pick like 10-20 shots and post them here... I don't really want to have to go through 200+ shots.

What I did randomly click on looked nice though.

I went thru every single shot, evaluated every one of them, checked out each shot's EXIF data and wrote up some very valuable notes.

I just forgot what I did with them.

so first, the bad news.

the framing looks off on some of them. I'm wishing for either wider or closer.
therefore, I'm going to guess you shot this with two lenses, probably a 70-200 zoom, and a normal kit zoom (not a 2.8 or faster).

Ex: #18. Close crops are nice. but this is possibly too close.
#13. What's the story you're telling? Including the minister so clearly looking off frame draws the eye to look at....nothing.
#14 bride's partial backside is distracting and feels 'accidental'

other than the framing, a few are soft.

also lighting is splotchy on some, totally understand you gotta work with whats there, but even if you don't strobe it, a few hours of PP will do wonders.

Example: #7. Nice shot. Mom's face is a bit dark. The door in the background is distracting. So is the bright red EXIT splotch above it. Do some dodging and blurring. Or flip to a bw conversion.
#8. Again, nice shot...but. Big foot jutting out in the background, fairly brightly lit, draws attention and detracts from the pic.

the good:
the set looks pretty nice actually, and you're definitely on the right road.

some good ideas here, just some polish on the execution and you'll be set.

5 and 6 are blurry in a bad way, you probably should have shot at a lower aperture, or a higher aperture, and without motion blur.

Given your circumstances, that looks like one of the crapiest places to have a wedding ever.... The church sucked, and so did the place they had the reception, which looks to still be the church.

I like #18 the most.
#5 + 6 would have looked better if the DOF was more shallow (ie more bokeh in the background).

Thanks for the input...

And yeah they church was just like a big warehouse, converted into a church, and the whole wedding was illuminated with the soft orange light, It was horrible lightening conditions... but i did my best.
