Good thing I got my D300 two days ago to capture the action.. hopefully my house doesn't burn down..
looks like your saturation button is on fire.
not in a good way either.
Good thing you went to Nikon. Those pics are amazing...
In all seriousness, I hope you and your stuff is ok though. Living in CA must suck.
It actually doesnt
Yeah little too much saturation and contrast in some but still cool and crazy.
Plus I'm jealous of the D300
flawless first post!
I actually said "holy saturation" after viewing the first pic. My eyes started watering from the blown out colors, so I couldn't bare to peep the rest.
Im the king of over post processing but I think you should give these a second look. Unless you really fucked up the exposures or something, you've got some great images that don't need so much PP.
I can feel the heat from where I'm at from looking at the pics.
I'm soooo glad I left SB
That's your monitor.
while I do think they're a little too over saturated, it kinda adds to the scene.
It's funny because it's true.
New av is win.
This one reminds me of the movie 'There Will Be Blood'
the funny part about that is even though most people in this thread don't care for the look of his photos, and some of them would call themselves photographers, it's shots like this that are put on Album/DVD covers and so on. I actually thought the same thing when I see this and the first thing that came to my head was "Hills are on Fire"...sounds like a movie title to me. of course, based in California & a true story.
too much saturation, besides that they are cool
