Not a muscle car, but I figured I might get a little help in here. 93 Topaz...

I have had this nasty grinding noise which sounds like its coming from the front right wheel. It occurs most often when the brake is NOT applied. Almost like a clunking/grinding noise. It has progressively gotten worse. Brakes are about gone, and the car almost seems like it wants to turn without me turning the wheel.

I go to take the wheel off and see this. (big pictures)

It wiggles back and forth. I am assuming this is not normal. Any help is appreciated.

thats your rotor, its what your brake pads "press" on to make you stop.. that grinding is more then like the rivits in the rotors grinding from your pads.. it needs to be replaced along with getting new pads

it looks shot, buy a new one.. it is not hard to change.. just take that large middle nut out thats in the center of your 4 lugs, behind that will probably be a cotter pin.. take that out and everything should just pull off
