ahhh... i see what you mean... they may not like that AND holy crap that would be a ton of work.
Thinking of starting this one hur next week:
Ya that one looked pretty good to me, I have 3 im trying to decide between, with this being one of them. HST100 is cool but too complicated for me I like to just go lift weights.
started Chad Waterbury's 10x3 yesterday, complete with before weight/photo's.
jesus i'm fat and have man titties
great post, thanks for all the links
I started doing the-
Dual Factor Hypertrophy Training (DFHT): http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/core9.htm
I'm only on day 2 but I love it. Its challenging and feels bad ass doing a full upper and full lower work out.
looks almost identical to wsb/cp to me..
I think that I will go for a Max-OT routine.
I tried it and didn't like it very much. Its pretty hard to do correctly because you have to really max out and its feels like your barely working out. For a beginner it seems ok but i'd already been working out for a few years when i tired it.
Thanks guys.. i was looking a new routine. I've certainly got enough here to keep me busy.
Another excellent beginners routine if you want to add it to the sticky:
Wannabebig.com routine 1: WBB1:
It's a simple 3 day split - short heavy sets inclu deadlifts, squats, rows, pullups etc. Highly effective.
was thinking at starting this in a couple of weeks also. how is it coming along? what can of meals are you having?
I wanted to put this on a day to day calendar first so that I have something to follow.
i can tell i've lost some fat, but my weight has pretty much stayed the same so far. averaging from 220-224. as of this morning i'm 220, but i feel pretty good for the most part.
I took out the jump rope because i can't do that shit for more than 2 minutes before i'm fucking worn out, but i can do the running part for almost 20 minutes without passing out. I'm pretty sure my diet isn;t as good as it could be because it seems like i'm eating at maint. i'm fucking hungry all the god damn time though.
are there any bench specialization routines other than the sheiko one?
i won't be doing much back/leg work any time soon
You could try a Metal Militia routine or one of Matt Reynolds raw or shirted bench cycles.
do you have a link to the matt reynolds one?
i'm not interested in shirted benching yet because my bench is nowhere near respectable
Why yes I do (click)
now i just need to download msword
any mass gain hypertrophy someone can recommend. I enjoyed Max-OT while it lasted, but I'm looking for a different set/rep scheme.
I'm going to give Powerman's Hypertrophy 2.0 a go, it looks interesting
I decided to give the hypertrophy 2.0 a go, It's a bit different than what I'm used to and although he said NOT to substitute certain exercises I went ahead and substituted pendlay rows with 1 arm rows. Going to the gym in Atlanta during peak hours with my cousin who has poor balance probably isn't a good day to do pendlay rows for the very first time.
I'm not a big fan of good mornings either. The 12 reps put some wear on you though that's for sure
i just started 10x3 for Fat Loss by Chad Waterbury- http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do...ydra?id=795366
shit i underestimated it. it's tough. front squats are killer
started the waterbury method this week
that shit had me almost puking. chad's rest intervals really mean projectile vomiting time
never did a full body routine but i like this one. needed something in between OVT routines
