what other exercises target the traps besides barbell shrugs and dumbbell shrugs?
upright rows, deadlifts
face pull > *
wow, never knew deadlifts target the traps.
what are hang cleans?
not a good trap exercise
...i do facepulls regularly...its good for rear delts and rhomboids...not traps
hise shrugs, if your grip is already gone
oh shrugs, bent over shrugs, farmers walk, hang clean, power shrugs, reverse bench shrugs, etc....im pretty sure you could get descriptins with google.
I saw mention of these when I was looking for trap exercises, but I didn't think it would do much. Does the bar need to be on top of your traps instead of resting behind them?
what are hang cleans and upright rows?
i would like to build some traps, and the only workouts ive done to do so are db shrugs and bb power shrugs.
Don't bother with hang cleans unless you have someone coaching you. You'll fuck the lift up horribly and end up doing more harm than good.
how about the upright rows?
Cleans, like all O-Lifts, are pretty technical which is why I don't recommend them to most people.
hmm, it states it targets the side delts. but supports the trap muscle group.
thing is, i have my shoulder day separately... so i guess its best to do traps the same day with shoulders eh?
i would have to agree, they hamemr mine pretty hard
