I'm looking to get a new haircut. I have relatively thin hair and a bit of a receding hairline, so keep those things in mind with your recommendations. I'm an attorney, so I need to keep it somewhat professional. I need to take a new picture for my advertisements, and I want to do something with my hair before that. Here's a couple pics, suggest away...

just go short. not shaved, but using a #1 guard can still look professional. I have seen quite a few older guys like that in court.

Made an appointment with a recommended stylist tomorrow. She was all booked out until the 16th of September except for tomorrow at 9:45 so I'm hoping the recommendation is good...

That has always been hit and miss for me. My girl always wanted me to go to her stylist. Every time i did, i had a very trendy haircut, but i never felt comfortable with it.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna have some very subtle highlights done and do something like what I'm currently doing (messy)

Good luck. Do you have to appear in court? If so, i would keep it conservative and neat. I have seen way too many judges throw a hissy fit about personal hygiene, grooming, and clothing choices.

your hair is fine, it's stylish but still professional for court. although i'd put your choice of ties on a diet :o
