If this happened in California the guy would have been charged with first degree murder and the article would have villified him.
i am rick sanchez!
We get a different local news up in Palm Beach County .
Nope... we get NBC WPTV 5, CBS 12, ABC WPBF 25, and Fox 29
That is fucking awesome. If i were the guy who got robbed, I would buy this good citizen a nice AR. That way all 4 robbers would be dead at the scene
That's a nice neighbor.
You know, that's a good point....
/looks around at bolt action .308, pistols....
/decides a semi auto rifle is next on the list
haha god i love florida.....
"Florida: yea you can try to rob us....but we'll fucking shoot you"
i have a semi-morbid question for you guys....since were all gun enthusiasts and obviously spend alot of time at the range getting good, do any of y'all in the back of your head kinda hope somebody MIGHT break into ur place just so you have an excuse? lol
forgive me im horrible
Not really. For one, that would be a huge fucking mess to clean up in my house. Two, I'd rather not gamble my life like that and three, I'm also sure there would be a ton of paperwork to fill out and court to go to, even if I wasn't getting charged with anything.
I'm more worried about the mess than anything. I don't want to replace walls that have bullet holes in them or have to get new carpet. The idea that they might shoot back doesn't sit well with me, either. I don't have to worry about the court stuff.
hard wood and linoleum floors ftw, spackle to cover bullet holes if you have drywall.
Hydrogen Peroxide does wonders on blood
On "Worlds Dirtiest Jobs" on the Discovery Channel (or mabye it was TLC?) a few weeks ago featured companies that go around and clean up crime scenes. They'll remove bodies, clean up the blood, disinfect and sterilize everything, etc. etc. and make the whole place appear as if nothing ever happened. They showed them cleaning up a shooting in a parking lot and there was just a little blood on the pavement and they spent like 4 hours scrubbing the whole parking lot, they were very thorough.
So just call one of these companies to clean it up
Haha nice. Although I still think a handgun would be your best bet inside your house. That .223 will go through a ton of walls and might injure your next door neighbor.
That said, my Garand is at the ready until I pick up the USP.
the guys at my range suggested to me that since i live in an apartment, that #4 buckshot in my 870 was a better choice compared to 00 buck or slugs for my living situation....sheesh, i can only imagine how many walls a slug would go through in an apartment complex
i should check the box o' truth website...they might shed some light on that...
They do some good tests for that. It's not perfect science but it will give you an idea about what kind you should be using.
I probably couldn't afford one of those companies
Have the family of the dead fucker pay for it, its his blood
IT'S LIKE THE WILD WEST DOWN THERE!
