    this is replacing my 940 pin fx-51 set up I had. Although it was a SWEET system I am moving and wanted something smaller. I think I came out okay :p This new system actually feels faster then my fx.

    new set up:

    Shuttle SN85G4v.2
    Athlon64 3200
    1gb Mushkin blue line DDR400 (2x 512mb)
    NEC dual layer dvd burner
    250gb WD SATA 8mb cache 7200rpm hdd
    ati radeon 9700 pro (9800 pro comming SOON)
    17" samsung SyncMaster 712n

    but you can only use onboard audio...UNLESS you use an external soundcard

    I spent a a lot on this comp.

    $400 for monitor
    $320 for shuttle
    $200 for ram
    $150 hdd
    $75 dvd drive

    already had the gpu & cpu

    it's not that I can't afford it. I'm getting the 9800pro from my friend for a good price.

    I'll get the x800 eventually. I had no problems playing doom III on high w/ my 9700pro on my fx machine.
