Just got this in today. Im gonna start collecting GI 1911s again, so starting with this.
Who's US&S CO, and what's the deal with the slide discoloration?
Would look good if you sent it out to have it worked over with lightening cuts, rail, BoMar sights, lasers, and all the other new fixin's
Union Switch and Signal. 2nd rarest of the WW2 1911a1 production manufacturers only making 55,000 pistols. First is Singer at 500 pistols.
Slide discoloration is from heat treating of the slides during production.
US&S = Union Switch & Signal
Damn nice gun
baller, where'd you get it from?
Some guy out of Florida.
Price if it isn't too rude to ask?
A lawyer friend of mine was looking to get acquire a USGI 1911 as well.
Last time we checked, good condition, standard issue (nothing funky/special) 1911s at auctions were fetching $1,600 - 2500.
Man definitely do want. I've wanted to buy a US&S for a long time. Never can bring myself to spend the cash though.
no wonder you're selling all your other shit
That's just to unload unwanted clutter.
