new bench pr v. shitty squat v ceaze prognosis

    I benched 260 without a pause today. I was :naughty: myself.

    But my squat sucked. I did 345 fine with wraps then I went to 365. The "sex muscle" part of my groin was burning like hell and hurting. So I didn't try again. I had this last week too when I was heavy squatting. Ceaze do you think it's possible i pulled or herniated something. I used to get these everyone once in a while. :hs:

    i used to feel alot of pain in that area when i had a huge hernia

    Yea, I don't feel any lumps though. I guess I'll go see the trainer tomm or wednesday if it still hurts.

    I get that feeling when I go for PR loads on bench, shirted and belted tight. usually when i start a little leg drive.

    i don't know about the thread starter, but the burning I get starts in the pelvic area and traces off down the side of my leg. and its only when i'm shirted and belted real tight

    Are you talking about sex muscle like the cut on your hips?

    That's why i was confused....that's what most people consider your "sex muscle" but it's not by your groin

    If he's talking about the groin being in pain, then I would understand. However, there is nothing sexy about a male inner thigh

    it's most likely your hip flexor (iliopsoas)

    I get the exact same pain in my right side. I've tried numerous exercises trying to strengthen it and it's still fucking up my squat and GM's

    I've started getting it on my left side, as well as down my left sartorius.
