nice, I did 42 last Tuesday, landed two, crash landed on third.
why do you do them?

i think they can help you squat/deadlift more and definitely help you become more explosive. that's especially good for him bc he plays rugby
oh ok. didnt now if it makes you bigger or anything.. i figured it was sport specific.
Nice - I hit that a few weeks ago at pretty much the same weight. How tall is you?
i really doubt that it would produce any hypertrophy. but yeh i believe it trains the CNS to be more efficient n' shit

there are a few boxes at my gym. but i end up having to stack shit underneath them to get em high
Same here, we stacked a 24" box on top of 2 20" boxes.
all kinds of trouble right now.
i do these but i sit all the way on the ground down to indian style, then i get back up x10 reps.
aint nothin but a peanut.
I have to stack all those step things they use for aerobic shit, really unstable. I bet if I had proper boxes I could do 42.5"
You could just go outside and find benches, tables, whatever to jump onto. I found a nice platform about 44" to do jumps onto.
